Computer Science (Minor)

Computer Science Minor Requirements:

• CS 151 Introduction to Computer Science (3)
• CS 252 Data Structures and Object-Oriented Programming (3)
• Twelve (12) credit hours of CS electives, including at least three (3) credit hours of 300 level or higher coursework.

  Students may substitute one of the following for 3-4 credit hours of CS electives:

  • MATH 219 - Discrete Mathematics (3)   
  • MATH 253 - Calculus with Analytic Geometry I (4)   
  • PHYS 319 - Digital Electronics (3)   
  • PHYS 325 - Computational Physics (3)   

Note:

Not available for Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Data Analytics majors.
